Baghdad/ Aswat al-Iraq: Iraqi deputy premier Hussein al-Shahristani stressed that the government is enhancing the policies of free markets through new economic laws that will meet world economic openness.
He added that these measures will encourage direct or indirect foreign investments in Iraq.
In his address in the Iraqi-South Korean Investment Conference, held in Seoul, he disclosed that trade exchange with South Korea reached to $12 billion.
He called South Korean companies to invest in Iraqi oil, electricity, transport, housing, ports and communications sectors.
Shahristani is leading senior Iraqi experts and businessmen to attend the conference.
